Jeonnam Dragons successfully completed an open training day with fans to pledge to be promoted to the K League 1 in the 2025 season.
The Jeonnam Dragons held their morning training session on Saturday, Feb. 8, as an open training day, holding their first meeting with fans during the 2025 season. Despite the cold weather of minus 7 degrees Celsius, 250 fans selected through pre-application were present. The application deadline was early, attracting more than 400 people in less than a day.
The event, which began with the team giving high-fives with fans and entering, was hosted by MC Mario (Kim Jin-hyung), who has been the club's in-house announcer since 2019. After hearing the greetings of Jeonnam Dragons President Kim Kyu-hong and the launch of coach Kim Hyun-seok and captain Valdivia for the 2025 season, Chung Seung-hoon, chairman of the supporters' Mir, continued to cheer for the 2025 season as a fan representative.
After the group photo shoot, the team began training, and fans watched the training while drinking hot drinks such as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate prepared by the club. After the training was over, a lottery ceremony for cherished items was held. Captain Valdivia, vice-captain Kim Kyung-jae, Kim Ye-sung, and Park Tae-yong provided their cherished items as prizes, giving joy and gifts to fans through a lottery. After that, they freely took individual photos and signed autographs for about 20 minutes, communicated with fans, had a good time, and successfully completed the open training event.
For fans who participated in the open training day and cheered for them despite the cold weather, the club prepared a multi-use luxury raincoat that can be used in various areas such as the head and wrist as a souvenir and delivered it with gratitude when fans entered. 안전놀이터
